The Tunable KiloArc illuminator is the ultimate tunable light source for applications that require high power output with over 100 mW. Combined with HORIBA’s available accessories, including our full line of monochromators and sample compartments, a specialized setup can be created for any experimental requirement.

Custom Fiber-Coupled Tunable Light Source for Metrology
By coupling a high brightness laser driven light source (LDLS) with HORIBA monochromators, a monochromatic source with high power at narrow bandpass is created. For various types of applied metrology measurements, this is an ideal light source for characterizing materials.

Custom High Brightness/Power Tunable Source for Material Characterization
By coupling a high brightness high power supercontinuum fiber source with HORIBA monochromators, a tunable source with high power at narrow bandpass is created. For material characterization, the output can be coupled to an integrating sphere. Given the small image size of the source, an adaptor may also be coupled to the output to give collimated monochromatic output.

Custom Uniform Illuminator for Detector Characterization
By combining HORIBA’s LSH series of light sources with our wide variety of monochromators and accessories, custom illuminators can be created for a wide variety of applications including detector characterization. Coupling to an integrating sphere provides uniform illumination, while fiber coupling adapters allow flexibility and order sorting filter wheels provide pure monochromatic light.
